Last night we went to a vegetarian/Cuban restaurant recommended in our guide book called Habanita. It was quite the adventure trying to find the place. Seville uses street signs sparingly and the streets twist and turn so you aren´t really sure where you are. We made it and ordered some sangria.
We split a small order of mushroom croquettes, which I loved.
And I ordered a small order of ratatouille. Very good, but not knock your socks off amazing.
Afterwards we again tried to navigate the streets of Seville and somehow managed to find the Flamenco place. It had a very underground feel – we nearly walked by the entryway, and I´m sure you can see why..
The place was filled with college age kids. The dancer kept having to hush everyone down. Other than that it was a very cool show. The guitar playing, singing and dancing was all really mesmerizing.
This morning we slept in and then took a very long walk on the river. I haven´t had any “formal” exercise since my first day in Madrid, but we´ve literally been walking miles and miles every day.
We did some souveneir shopping and got some tapas. This stop at the internet cafe is for some much needed rest from all this walking. It´s actually super hot here in Seville (which I´m not complaining about though!).
Tonight we are going to bed early-ish because our train to Granada leaves at 7 am. We have been staying up until 3 am-ish and sleeping until 11 or 12 the last few days. Those of you who know me well know this is not typical of me. I´m very much a morning person but I´m enjoying the change of pace in Spain.
People wake up at a normal time but then in the afternoon everybody takes a siesta. Then people work till later and go to dinner at 10 pm. It´s a completely different lifestyle.
Anyways, I will probably be disconnected for the next few days. I might be able to post from Granada but I´m not sure if there will be time. There are times when I miss my phone and the Internet, but I´m trying to enjoy the peace and quiet that being disconnected brings.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

So jealous. Spain (Barcelona in particular) is number one on my list of places to visit.
Yummmm your food sounds GOOD!
