I just got back from the doctor with the big news:
My stress fracture is healed and I can begin running again!
I plan on starting very slowly. I am thinking of doing a short (as in 1 mile short) run at lunch today. I also have a swim planned for after work because I haven’t swam in OVER THREE WEEKS!
Since I took most of yesterday off for the bone scan and had the doctor’s appointment this morning, I have a lot of catching up to do at work today.
I just wanted to share the good news, but I’ll be back with a regular post later. I can’t thank everyone enough who left me supportive comments over the last few months. When I was feeling down, this community brought me back up.

Yay!!! Great news. So glad to hear it! Depending on how fast you run I’d totally be down to meet up for a run and fro yo sometime soon! I live in Crystal City and have a pretty huge pool, so I’m going to try to do laps either tonight or next week to see how it goes. if it goes well, you’re invited!
